The following agencies offer a variety of mental health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and families in Morris County. Some agencies provide services county wide, others serve a more limited geographic area. Community Mental Health Centers generally serve municipalities that are part of one of three service areas in the County: Service Area #55, Service Area #56, Service Area #57. The following hospitals provide 24-hour, seven days a week crisis intervention, psychiatric emergency service, clinical consultation, counseling referrals, and when appropriate, hospitalization to children and adults in the Service Areas as noted.

Detoxification and short-term inpatient substance abuse treatment for adult men and women. Preferential admission for persons with mental illness and co-occurring chemical abuse. Treatment combines individual and group counseling, educational sessions on mental illness and addiction, with daily attendance at 12 Step self-help meetings.

Programs:
A continuum of residential and supportive services ranging from 24-hour support to supportive independent-living models. Emphasis is on helping individuals become more self-sufficient and reducing the need for re-hospitalization. Services include daily living assistance, counseling, crisis intervention, case management and support for MICA consumers. Assistance is also provided to families to help with estate planning around consumers' residential needs.
